Bruce Irvin reportedly agrees to deal with Raiders

Khalil Mack will soon have a talented new running mate at linebacker.

The Raiders have agreed in principle to a deal with former Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin, according to NFL.com.

Details about the contract are not immediately known; it's expected to be announced Wednesday when the new league year begins.

Irvin, a first-round pick by the Seahawks in 2012, helped the team win back-to-back NFC championships, and Super Bowl XLVIII.

Irvin also found ways to make headlines for negative reasons; he was suspended in 2013 for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, and made history by becoming the first player to be ejected in a Super Bowl.
