Broncos, Bucs involved in weather delay skirmish

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were understandably frustrated Sunday. Not only did they have to endure a weather delay for the second straight week, they were getting thumped by the defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

The Broncos held a 27-7 lead at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium before lightning caused an 86-minute delay with 6:33 remaining in the game. As the teams were warming up before play resumed, Broncos rookie punter Riley Dixon booted some footballs that landed in the Buccaneers' end of the field.

Buccaneers punter Bryan Anger returned fire with some punts of his own into the Broncos' end.
