Turner was convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman on campus in January 2015.

USA Swimming spokesman Scott Leightman confirmed the ban to USA TODAY Sports. Turner will never be allowed to compete in any USA Swimming-sanctioned events, including the upcoming U.S. Olympic Trials.
"Brock Turner's membership with USA Swimming expired at the end of the calendar year 2014," Leightman said.
