The San Francisco 49ers were thought to be among the favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl for a second straight year, but they haven't been playing that way.
The 49ers suffered a disappointing 24-23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday to fall to 2-3 this season.
San Francisco scored all of its points in the first half and held a 10-point lead entering the fourth quarter before allowing Arizona to make a comeback. It's the second time this season that the team has blown a double-digit lead in an NFC West game following its Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
