Brock Lesnar has been suspended for one year by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and fined $250,000 as punishment for failed drug tests last summer around UFC 200, according to multiple reports.
The sanctions, levied Thursday, are part of a settlement between Lesnar and the NASC stemming from the failed drug tests last summer before his fight with Mark Hunt. It was not revealed until after the July 9 fight that Lesnar had failed the tests.
The suspension is retroactive to July 9. Lesnar, also a WWE wrestler, has died taking any banned substances. As part of the settlement, Lesnar does not have to admit guilt, ABC News reported.
