As rain clouds finally, at long last slipped past Bristol, it appeared Sprint Cup's race would resume. And not a moment too soon for drivers and fans alike.

Yeah, that pretty much summed up the attitude at Bristol, where a Saturday night race became a Sunday day race that appeared headed into the Sunday twilight race.
Best estimates called for rain to end before 5 p.m. ET, and for a green flag about 6.
NASCAR got 48 laps completed Saturday night, a quarter of them under caution, before a third red flag flew and forced a postponement.
