The U.S. Track and Field Olympic trials in Eugene, Ore., have been dominated by first-time Olympians, and Friday night was no different.
Brianna Rollins will be one of more than three dozen first-time Team USA members in Rio this summer after winning the women’s 100-meter hurdles on Friday, upsetting Kendra Harrison in the finals with a 12.34 time to win the race. Kristi Castlin and Nia Ali will also represent the U.S. in the event on the strength of their second- and third-place finishes.
