Should Brian Vickers be allowed to drive in Saturday's Sprint Unlimited race? The easy answer is no.
The NASCAR answer is yes. Stock car racing's governing body announced its decision Thursday, letting Vickers pilot the No. 14 car in Friday's practice and Saturday night's 75-lap exhibition race. The field expanded to 26 with the announcement.

Steve O'Donnell, NASCAR's executive vice president, said "unforeseen circumstances" prevented Stewart from driving, and in effect punished his Stewart-Haas Racing organization.
