This, of course, was where the Mets held a closed-door team meeting Wednesday. Almost midway through the season, their problems — the anemic offense, the amateurish infield defense, all those injuries — seemed to have the team nearing a tipping point. Manager Terry Collins wanted his players, veterans and rookies alike, to regroup, to regain their focus.
