The Lions have made a point of bringing many players back who were around in 2024, but the cornerback room has a healthy mix of new faces and familiar ones. New defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard has plenty of familiarity with the group sticking around, along with passing game coordinator/defensive backs coach Deshea Townsend.
The Lions' secondary had to do a lot of heavy lifting by the end of last season as injuries mounted.
