Brazil are on the hunt for a new head coach after sacking Dorival Junior on Friday night following a crushing 4-1 defeat against arch-rivals Argentina.
According to Spanish news outlet Marca, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola is one of three managers on the Selecao’s shortlist to replace Dorival.
Brazil have won just five out of 15 games since Dorival took over in January last year, and they’re wasting no time moving on from the underwhelming 62-year-old manager.
Dorival has been threading a tightrope since Brazil’s disappointing quarter-final exit against Uruguay at the 2024 Copa America.
