The Atlanta Braves announced on Monday that they've signed third baseman Austin Riley to a 10-year, $212 million contract that runs through 2032. The deal includes a $20 million club option for 2033.
Riley, 25, is a career .280/.340/.524 hitter with 88 home runs and 251 RBI in 392 games since joining the Braves in 2019. He tallied career highs during Atlanta's World Series run last season with 29 home runs and 107 RBI. He has 29 home runs and 68 RBI while slashing .301/.360/.604 through 101 games this season.
He won a Silver Slugger and finished seventh in NL MVP voting last season.
