Jets receiver Brandon Marshall is set to appear April 5-7 in U.S. District Court in Manhattan for a civil trial stemming from a lawsuit filed in the wake of a 2012 brawl in which the then-Dolphins receiver allegedly punched a woman outside a New York nightclub, according to NFL Media.
The incident in question happened March 11, 2012, two days before he was traded to the Bears. The New York Post reported that Marshall got into an argument with a group of friends who were celebrating a birthday. As the argument turned into a fight outside, Marshall allegedly hit a 24-year-old woman in the eye.
