Bradley Beal will not participate in NBA restart due to shoulder injury

Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal won’t risk further injury to his shoulder this season. The Wizards announced Tuesday that Beal will sit out for the rest of the 2020 NBA season due to a shoulder injury.

In a statement, Beal, 27, said it was a difficult decision, and that he looked forward to returning next season “to continue the progress we have made.”

"I appreciate the support of my teammates, the fans and the entire organization and look forward to returning next season to continue the progress we have made.
