Today could mark the end of one of Major League Soccer's best careers, with Sporting Kansas City midfielder Brad Davis announcing that he will retire at the end of the 2016 season.
David, who made his name with the Houston Dynamo, spending 10 years with the club and leaving as the team's all-time leader in games played, starts and assists and won MLS Cup twice.
“I can’t believe that the last 15 years have gone by so fast and that this journey has come to an end,” Davis said in a team release. “Along the way, I have met a lot of great people and have had the privilege to play alongside many great players.
