That’s what British boxer Chris Eubank Jr. is dealing with now, after his father, the former boxing world champion Chris Sr., intervened on negotiations with middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin. Golovkin (35-0, 32 KOs) had agreed to terms with Eubank (23-1, 18 KOs) before Eubank’s father caused him to hesitate signing the contract, according to an ESPN report.

Golovkin now will face another British boxer, welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-0, 25 KOs) on Sept.
