A former redshirt freshman offensive lineman has settled his lawsuit against Bowling Green State University in which he accused coaches and medical staff of not holding him out of full-contact practices after he suffered multiple concussions that have led to a permanent brain injury, Court News Ohio reported.

Cody Silk, who was on the Bowling Green football team in 2010, will receive $712,500 from the school.
