Since arriving in Boston last week, Eliud Kipchoge — perhaps you’ve heard of him by now — has drawn massive crowds, including on his training runs along the Charles River. Gracious enough to pose for innumerable selfies (check social media for evidence), Kipchoge has seemed genuinely appreciative of his first Boston experience.
In an interview last month, he said he was looking forward to tackling the course’s many hills. “Life is a challenge,” he said. “It’s good to challenge yourself. The moment the challenge is no longer there, then that’s not life.”
There’s time to spare in the athletes’ village.
