Police ordered the evacuation of an English soccer stadium on Sunday where one of the world's most popular teams was preparing to play. Initial reports cited a bomb threat.
The report proved to be a hoax, but not before Manchester United's match against Bournemouth was cancelled.
Security personnel initially removed fans from two sections of the stadium in Manchester, England. Then, the full venue was emptied while police using search dogs scoured the stadium.
Investigators found what they termed a suspicious package.
Due to the discovery of a suspect package in the NW Quadrant of the ground, the match has been abandoned today on police advice.
