Kansas has been near or at the bottom during most of its years in the Big 12. The Jayhawks never beat Stoops. In its memorable 12-0 season in 2007, Kansas got lucky and did not have to face Oklahoma.
Texas Tech was a tough test for the Sooners when Stoops' former offensive coordinator Mike Leach left for Lubbock in 2000.
