Blue Jays softball swept in doubleheader against Dickinson

JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown High School softball team could not figure out how to solve Dickinson High School and it cost them in a 5-2 loss in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 22, at Jamestown High School.

On the mound, the Midgets’ Reagan McMahen pitched a complete game giving up one earned run on five hits while striking out 10 hitters and walking only one. The Blue Jays starter was Madilyn Hoff who also pitched a complete game, giving up five earned runs on six hits while striking out eight and walking five hitters.
