Eric Decker Placed on Injured Reserve
- "The [New York] Jets announced today that they have placed WR Eric Decker on injured reserve," Eric Allen wrote for the team's official website. Decker was sixth in the NFL with 12 receiving touchdowns last season.
- The San Francisco 49ers and Colin Kaepernick agreed Thursday to a restructured contract, according to Adam Schefter and Adam Caplan of ESPN.com. The new contract eliminates the remaining four years on the old deal and gives Kaepernick a player option for next season.
