Detroit Pistons big man Blake Griffin is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on his left knee.
The 30-year-old Griffin was limited to just 18 games this season due to the issue. Griffin still averaged 15.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game despite the injury.
Griffin had a procedure on the same knee during the offseason. He missed the start of the season while recovering from that surgery. The Pistons were careful with Griffin’s workload when he was available, giving him off days as needed so he could rest his knee.
