The Los Angeles Clippers are engaged in serious talks on a deal that would send All-Star forward Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell ESPN.
The Clippers, who drafted Griffin first overall in 2009, re-signed Griffin to a five-year, $173 million contract in July.
Griffin has been injured off and on this season, including a recent concussion and sprained MCL. Griffin has averaged 22.6 points and 7.9 rebounds in 33 games this season.
