Nine days into spring practice we have our third black stripe removal, this time by way of second-year defensive lineman Dominic Kirks. The Painesville, Ohio native saw action in three games during his freshman year at Ohio State. Originally committed to Washington, the Buckeyes were able to flip Kirks and keep him close to home.
Kirks was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and was ranked as the No. 32 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 10 ranked player in Ohio according to 247Sports. With Caden Curry and Kenyatta Jackson set to take over the starting defensive end positions, Kirks will be battling with former linebacker turned edge rusher, C.
