After weeks of complex legal wrangling and confusing ownership issues, the TNA situation appears to be settled, for the moment at least.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the judge presiding over the Billy Corgan vs. TNA case has rejected Corgan's motion for an injunction against the company which effectively removes him from any takeover discussions.
Corgan had reportedly lent millions to the struggling TNA promotion in order to fund its TV tapings and PPVs, which he construed was money going toward purchase of the company. He was named president of the company, but it was quickly apparent that he had no real power within the organization and Dixie Carter was still making all the final decisions.
