There were many theories as to why Tyrod Taylor wasn't going to start this weekend against the Jets, but a clear-cut explanation has finally been offered.
According to the Buffalo News, Taylor is headed to Philadelphia to determine whether or not he needs surgery on his groin. The report said Taylor had been dealing with the injury for "the better part of a month."
After the Bills fired Rex Ryan on Tuesday, it was announced EJ Manuel would start in place of Taylor, who had just thrown for 329 yards and three touchdowns in an overtime loss against the Dolphins last week.
