Bill Simmons' under-25 roster argument falls flat; U.S. basketball should stand pat

Erstwhile ESPN columnist Bill Simmons opened the latest installment of his HBO program "Any Given Wednesday" with a ludicrous pitch on the eve of Rio 2016: to send an under-25 team to represent the United States in future Olympic basketball competitions.

Man, if he’s reaching that hard for subject matter on his fifth show, he’s got a problem.
