Comedian Bill Maher is not afraid to voice his opinions, however controversial they may be. But as a minority owner of a major league franchise, his latest rant may cost him.
Maher joined the Mets' flagship radio station, WOR-AM in New York, on Wednesday to talk about his relationship with the Mets franchise as a fan and recently as a part-owner. When the discussion turned to National League MVP Bryce Harper and his unveiling of the "Make Baseball Fun Again" trucker hat imitating Donald Trump's campaign slogan, Maher was less than impressed.
