Big Bluff: Ben Roethlisberger won't endorse, speak for Donald Trump at convention

Donald Trump could have Tom Brady on his side, but he won't be getting public support of Ben Roethlisberger.

The presidential candidate on Friday expressed his excitement about the number of sports stars backing him in this year's election, saying he planned to have Brady, Roethlisberger, Dana White and NASCAR chairman Brian France speak on his behalf at the Republican convention.

But the Steelers quarterback was quick to deny he was one of them, telling the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette he's "staying out of politics and will not attend the GOP event."

Roethlisberger's agent, Ryan Tollner, clarified that Trump is an "acquaintance" of his client, adding the two know each other "through the golfing circuit and have a relationship based on that.
