Jon Rahm had a six-stroke lead in the Memorial Tournament but was forced to withdraw from the PGA Tour event Saturday due to a positive COVID-19 test.
Rahm came into close contact with a person who tested positive for the virus, but had been testing negative early in the tournament. His post-round test on Friday, however, came back positive while he was already on the course on Saturday and had built a commanding lead.
Not only was it a devastating moment for Rahm, it was a rough turn of events for those who wagered on him.
