Best players available for Day 3 of NFL Draft offer plenty of talent

Baylor defensive tackle Andrew Billings and Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook headline the list of talented players available for the third day of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Many thought Billings, an extremely strong 6-1, 311-pound run stuffer, could be a first-round pick. Instead he's there at the top of the fourth round. Cook was thought to be perhaps the fourth-best quarterback in the draft, but he saw three QBs — Penn State's Christian Hackenberg, North Carolina State's Jacoby Brissett and USC's Cody Kessler — go in front of him Friday.

While Billings and Cook should go early when the fourth round begins Saturday at noon, there is plenty of talent remaining with players such as Notre Dame defensive tackle Sheldon Day, Ohio State linebacker Joshua Perry, LSU guard Vadal Alexander, Duke safety Jeremy Cash, Missouri linebacker Kentrell Brothers, South Carolina wide receiver Pharoh Cooper and Utah running back Devontae Booker.
