Bernard Tomic fined $10,000 for vulgar comments during U.S. Open

Bernard Tomic has been fined $10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct for his vulgar comments aimed at a spectator during the U.S. Open on Tuesday, according to the ITF.

The spectator was apparently taunting the Australian tennis player during his loss to Damir Dzumhur.

Microphones picked up Tomic telling the fan, “suck my balls,” “I will put my balls in your mouth,” and “I will give you some money to make you feel good” to the individual.

French umpire Cedric Mourier told Tomic to him to ask for his assistance next time, rather than take matters into his own hands.
