Bed bugs, not flu, limited sleepless Kyrie Irving to 9 minutes against Thunder

There are hundreds of injuries during any given NBA season, and many different causes.

Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving missed the majority of his team’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday because bed bugs in his hotel room kept him from sleeping.

"It was honestly from the bed bugs from the Hilton that we stayed at," Irving said, via ESPN.com. "We came into the game and I was freaked out. I didn't get any sleep. ... Started feeling nauseous."

Irving officially left the game after 9 minutes because of what the team called “flu-like symptoms.
