Matt Nagy's roller-coaster ride as head coach of the Chicago Bears is reportedly over.
Chicago fired Nagy on Monday after he led the team to an 8-8 record in both 2019 and 2020 and a 6-11 mark in 2021, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Bears suffered a 31-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in their season finale Sunday.
It felt like just a matter of time before this happened considering insider Jordan Schultz reported in November "an overwhelming number" of the team's players wanted Nagy fired with one source saying, "He lost some of the locker room last season, but now it's gone.
