Jay Cutler may have played his last game for the Bears this season, but that doesn't mean his career in Chicago is over.
The veteran quarterback is dealing with a partially torn labrum and tendonitis in his throwing shoulder that could sideline him for the remainder of the year, but the team could be open to bringing him back in 2017, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday.
It had been reported earlier this week that the right shoulder injury Cutler suffered last week in a loss to the Giants would not end his season, though examination revealed the severity of the injury is worse than initially believed.
