Baylor’s Title IX coordinator resigns; two more women join civil rights lawsuit

Baylor's Title IX coordinator has resigned, the school announced in a late-night statement Monday, the same day two more women who attended the university joined the civil rights lawsuit against the school.

Baylor released its statement at 11:49 p.m. CT, the Waco Tribune reported.

In it, the university said coordinator Patty Crawford "was disappointed in her role in implementing the recommendations that resulted" from law firm Pepper Hamilton's investigation into how Baylor handled allegations of domestic and sexual assault committed by students, including football players.
