Anu Solomon, a graduate transfer quarterback from Arizona, will play the 2017 season as a member of the Baylor Bears, 247Sports.com reported.
Solomon missed much of the 2016 season with injuries, but his play from previous seasons make him a prime starting option for new Baylor coach Matt Rhule.
Solomon threw for 3,793 yards and 28 touchdowns as a redshirt freshman in 2014 as he led the Wildcats to the Pac-12 title game and the Fiesta Bowl. As a sophomore he threw 20 touchdowns and just five interceptions.
Solomon began this past season on the Maxwell Award preseason watch list before injuring his knee in practice Sept.
