A Baylor professor called police July 7 on Hammad, 21, after he followed his ex-girlfriend to the professor's class. The woman told police she was afraid to leave the classroom alone and asked the professor to walk with her.

Hammad was still waiting outside the classroom and followed the pair to the professor's office, where he began knocking on the door.
