Barcelona takes a trip off the mainland just off the coast of Morocco on Sunday when it goes to Gran Canaria to face Las Palmas in a league showdown. Level with rival Real Madrid atop La Liga on points, Barca knows anything short of three points likely ends its chances of winning the league, with Real having one less match played and an opportunity to jump Barca on Wednesday. Las Palmas is a team that has some skill and plenty of heart, but its fine start to the season has fizzled in the second half of the campaign.
