When David Ortiz took the microphone at Fenway Park in April 2013 to address the Fenway Park faithful about the recent Boston Marathon bombings, the Red Sox slugger did not hold back, proudly proclaiming, "This is our f------ city."
While sitting in with the ESPN's broadcast crew during Tuesday's Tampa Bay Rays-Cuban National Team exhibition at Estadio Lationoamericano in Havana, Cuba, Barack Obama said the moment, combined with how people in Boston responded after the attack, was one his proudest moments in eight years as president.

"One of my proudest moments as president was watching Boston respond after the marathon (attack) and when Ortiz went out and said, probably the only time that America didn’t have a problem with cursing on live TV, when he talked about how strong Boston was and was not going to be intimidated," Obama said.
