The Colorado Avalanche have drawn first blood.
Andre Burakovsky lifted the Avalanche to a 4-3 triumph and 1-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final versus the Tampa Bay Lightning with an overtime winner in Game 1 on Wednesday night at Ball Arena.
Burakovsky slid his winner by Andrei Vasilevskiy on a brilliant find from Valeri Nichushkin, who might have been Colorado's best player in the series icebreaker.
The Avalanche also had goals from Nichushkin, Gabriel Landeskog and Arturri Lehkonen, while Darcy Kuemper made 20 saves for win.
