The Masters opened Thursday with gorgeous sunshine, but AccuWeather was calling for a big change overnight before the start of Friday’s second round at Augusta National Golf Club.
Rain was predicted to arrive in the Augusta area before midnight, and the overnight forecast included an 88 percent chance of rain. That included a 35 percent of thunderstorms. It’s a good bet Augusta National’s SubAir System, which is capable of helping dry greens, is turned on before the second round.
