LSU's legal battle for former assistant and now-Texas A&M defensive coordinator John Chavis is stirring up lots of old feelings, many of them bad as it pertains to the job security of Tigers coach Les Miles.
Chavis and LSU have been in court since February battling over the coach's buyout, which checks in at $400,000. Contracts were altered, LSU had some shakeups at the administrative level, and it's all really messy in a legal sense. Court documents unsealed this week and obtained by The Advocate have made it all very personal for Tigers fans -- and interestingly enough, Tennessee fans, too.
