On Friday, the Indianapolis Colts announced they released defensive lineman Arthur Jones after three seasons with the team.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media noted Jones was set to have a $7.35 million cap hit for the 2017 season.

The Baltimore Ravens drafted Jones in 2010, and he played there through the 2013 season. He tallied a sack in Baltimore's Super Bowl XLVII victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

The Colts signed him in 2014, and Jones missed the 2015 season with an ankle injury.
