A fiery, four-car crash in overtime ended the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 on Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway won by Jimmie Johnson — his fifth win at the Georgia track.
Aric Almirola got the worst of the damage. His car caught fire as he tried to bring it to the front stretch. Flames and smoke engulfed the rear end of his No. 43 car but Almirola was able to escape with the help of NASCAR officials. He and David Ragan were treated at the infield care center.
