AP Top 25: Villanova remains No. 1; Duke returns at No. 20

Villanova avoided joining the eight schools that spent only a week at No. 1 as the Wildcats (22-3), for the second week in a row, top The Associated Press Top 25.

The Wildcats received 44 first-place votes, more than doubling No. 2 Kansas' 21 first-place votes.

Oklahoma, Iowa and North Carolina rounded out the top five.

Meantime, Duke (19-6), which saw its run of being ranked in 167 consecutive polls dating to 2006-07 end two weeks ago, returned to the Top 25 at No.
