Anthony Lynn reportedly signs contract extension with Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers may not be committed to a quarterback, but they are committed to their head coach.

Anthony Lynn has signed a multi-year contract extension with the Chargers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The signing of the extension reportedly happened last week, and while nothing specific has been reported about the terms, it leaves him with “multiple years on his contract.”

Lynn, 51, would have been in the final year of his initial contract. He has coached the Chargers to a 26-22 record over three seasons, with the best coming in 2018, when they stormed their way to a decisive 12-4 record and made it to the divisional round of the playoffs.
