Former No.1 overall draft pick Anthony Bennett will be waived by the Raptors in order to make room for Jason Thompson, according to The Vertical.
Bennett was already hardly seeing the floor this season, being tossed back-and-forth between the D-League and the Raptors, and now he'll have to look for yet another chance somewhere else. The former UNLV standout has done nothing since being the first player selected in the 2013 draft, and it's mainly just a result of him never developing.
