Former LSU women's basketball star Aneesah Morrow was drafted No. 7 overall by the Connecticut Sun in the 2025 WNBA Draft on Monday night.
The forward emerged as one of the class' top prospects during a record-shattering senior season. She led the nation in rebounds and with 30 double-doubles as the Tigers made a run to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.
Looking to replace all five starters from a semifinal team last season, the Connecticut Sun drafted Morrow and NC State's Saniya Rivers with back-to-back picks.
Morrow averaged 18.7 points and 13.5 rebounds per contest during the 2024-25 season.
